Jasmine set up a lemonade stand on a hot Saturday. She made a big jug of cold lemonade and wrote a sign: "Lemonade, 50 cents." She waited and waited, but nobody stopped.
Across the street, her neighbour Mr Ford was raking leaves in the heat. Jasmine watched him wipe his forehead. She poured a cup and carried it over. "On the house," she said. Mr Ford drank it all and grinned. He told everyone at the bus stop about the best lemonade in town. Soon a line formed at Jasmine's stand. By lunchtime, her jug was empty and her jar was full of coins.
