Text Structure: Order the Parts
Each text type is built in a set order. Number the parts of each text 1, 2, 3 to show the correct structure.
- 1.Put a narrative in order (1, 2, 3): Complication (the problem) / Resolution (how it ends) / Orientation (who, where, when)
- 2.Put a recount in order (1, 2, 3): Events in the order they happened / Orientation (who, where, when) / Personal comment at the end
